One of Canada's largest cannabis companies has fittingly opened the country's biggest retail cannabis store.
On Wednesday, Aurora cannabis opened the doors to its 11,000 square foot experiential pot shop in West Edmonton Mall.
The store is divided into two halves, combining a cannabis and paraphernalia retail side with an experiential side featuring seating, art and unique programming.
“This space is a reflection of Aurora’s core values, a celebration of our past, and cements our position as an innovative industry leader,” said Terry Booth, CEO of Aurora in a release.
Based in Edmonton, Aurora operates in 25 countries across five continents, as one of the world’s largest and leading cannabis companies.
According to the company, the flagship store will provide visitors access to over 42 different cannabis products from the Aurora family of brands.
