In the latest episode of Business Matters, presented by Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, host Rob Cupello sits down with Andrew Steeves and Jenny Christie from Cariboo Carbon Solutions.
Steeves is the Operations Manager and Christie is a Senior Surveyor with the company, which is at the forefront of combating the effects of wildfires through innovative reforestation and ecosystem restoration projects.

The forestry consulting company is based in BC, and has a team of forest professionals.
“We're really excited to partner up with people and be a part of projects for a greener future,” says Steeves.
Christie and Steeves delve into how they got started in the forestry industry, and what the ins and outs are of what they do for our forests.
On what gets her out of bed in the morning, Christie says it’s the impact that their projects have.
“As a person whose main focus is reforestation, there is no other project that I know of that's going on in BC that's more exciting to me than reforesting these areas that have been impacted by wildfires.”
