Brown shares insights behind his brands’ ethos and his journey working in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Born in Wales, Brown discusses his background working in the cruise industry and how he met his wife whilst they both were working on a private island in Haiti.
The two later moved to Dubai and worked in the tourism sector.
Brown says this experience gave him “a glimpse of tourism from different angles.”
They discovered a market for sustainable tourism activities, and after moving to BC, they launched Lakeside Eco-Sports.
Their business provides a range of sustainable activities such as snow e-biking, jet-boarding and solar lake tours for locals and visitors.
Kelowna was a great fit for their brand, enabling them to offer a range of activities throughout the year such as water sports during the summer, e-bikes to explore the local bike trails and snow e-biking during the winter months.
Brown is excited about the upcoming year and has more ideas and activities he's looking to introduce, as well as new partners they will be working with.
