VictoriaNow’s first ever Best Of event was held at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on Wednesday, recognizing the city’s top businesses as chosen by our readers.
Over 100 people were in attendance at this year’s event which saw over 200 awards in 75 different categories handed out to winners representing 14 major industries in Greater Victoria.
NowMedia’s Vice President of Business Development Rob Cupello thanked everyone who helped make Best Of Victoria a success this year:
“We were excited to have the opportunity to celebrate our first annual Best of Victoria event,” said Cupello “We know how hard the last couple of years have been on businesses, so anytime we can shine a light on these organizations I feel it’s a great opportunity. A big congratulations to all the winners as we know it’s well deserved…We look forward to growing the VictoriaNow brand and hosting the Best of Victoria events for years to come.”
In addition to the awards recognizing business accomplishments, many attendees were fortunate enough to go home with one or more amazing door prizes supplied by a number of our wonderful sponsors.
The event also provided an excellent networking opportunity for local business leaders and featured a number of speeches by NowMedia representatives and Victoria Royals General Manager and Head Coach Dan Price.
