Although there are lots of places to check out in the city, there are just as many spots to add to your bucket list in Greater Victoria.
Here are some of Victoria’s favourite tourist attractions outside city limits.
Butchart Gardens is a great place to visit for tourists and locals alike. This spot is family friendly—including your furry family member!
Go for a stroll through the garden display all year-round. There’s a great spot for gelato, and they have a restaurant and afternoon tea as well.
This spot is relatively new, having just opened last summer. Guests ascend a circular ramp gently rising to the top of a 10-storey spiral tower lookout. The attraction gives visitors the “ultimate natural high” in a first of its kind experience.
Sooke Potholes Regional Park is located on the banks of the Sooke River. Take in the unique geological formations that offer some of the best freshwater swimming in the region. There are also stunning views, trails, and camping.
