Three men were fined on Sunday for overfishing bull trout at a Revelstoke area lake.
According to the BC Conservation Officer Service, the three men received a combined $1,740 in fines for their actions.

The service said that the two Revelstoke men and one Golden man exceeded their daily quotas and possession limits of bull trout.
They also dressed fish in a way to prevent the number from being determined.
“In BC, bull trout are a blue-listed species and susceptible to being over harvested in early spring,” explained a post from the BCCOS.
Conservation officers seized a total of 11 fish and related fishing gear from the men.
Fortunately, they were able to process and donate all 36 pounds of seized fish to the Golden Food Bank.
