‘It feels like I’m dreaming’: BC Interior resident nets $187K online slot win

A Princeton resident is on cloud nine after winning $187,500 playing an online slot machine through BCLC’s PlayNow.com.

On the evening of July 28, Jennifer Jones was at home playing Huff’N Even More Puff when she struck the big win.

“It feels like I’m dreaming. It’s too unbelievable to be true,” Jones said of her initial reaction. “It’s very euphoric!”

Jones could not wait to tell her neighbour about the good news.

“I had to wake my neighbour up to look at the screen,” she recalled.

“He stood there in shock and could not believe it.”

The Princeton resident plans to use her winnings to pay down her mortgage, purchase a new ATV and gift some of the prize to her children.
