(UPDATE: July 19 @ 4:42 pm) – The Kelowna RCMP have provided additional details about the two children reported missing on July 18.
The two children were the subject of an amber alert issued Wednesday afternoon.
Cpl. Michael Gauthier says the two children were last seen in a downtown Kelowna restaurant on Friday, June 30.
(Original story: July 19 @ 3:24 pm) – An amber alert has been issued for two BC children Wednesday afternoon.
On July 18, the RCMP received a report of two children who had not been returned to their father, by their mother, after a vacation in the Kelowna area.
According to the alert, they were last seen at Krafty Kitchen and Bar located at 281 Lawrence Avenue.
The two children that are subject of the alert are Aurora Bolton and Joshuah Bolton.
Both children are originally from Surrey and were reported missing on Monday, July 18.
Aurora is eight-years-old and has brown hair. Joshuah is 10-years-old and also has brown hair. Both children are Caucasian.
The Surrey RCMP say they are actively seeking Verity Bolton, 45, who was last seen driving a blue 2012 Dodge D250 with a BC License Plate SJ2708.
Bolton is described as Caucasian with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who may have seen Aurora Bolton and Joshuah Bolton, Verity Bolton or Verity Bolton’s vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
