1 person dead following crash on Hwy 97 in the Interior

A person is dead after a two-vehicle collision in the BC Interior this morning.

According to North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson, the crash occurred on Hwy 97 near 141 Mile House.

The crash occurred at 5:02 am. At this point, the cause of the collision is still unknown.

Emergency services are still on scene and the highway has been reduced to single-lane alternating traffic.
