An armed man took passenger on a bus hostage in Brazil this morning. The incident began shortly before 6 am local time on the Rio-Niterói Bridge in Rio de Janeiro. A standoff with armed police lasted about three hours before a sniper shot and killed the kidnapper. All hostages were unharmed and are now free.
UPDATE: Police now say the hostage taker has been shot dead by officers - and that his gun was a toy.

What was supposed to be a peaceful movie night under the stars in Denver this weekend took a turn for the worse. The wind picked up and it sent the air mattresses that were laid out for patrons into the air. Robb Manes caught the hilarious moment in a short video, but witnesses said the mattresses were on the loose for 30 minutes.

Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” spent 19 weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, breaking a record for the longest run at No. 1. Billie Eilish has dethroned Lil Nas X with her song “Bad Guy,” which makes her the first artist born in the 2000s to claim the No. 1 spot.
