B212 helicopter.<\/p> <p>According to the TSB, the pilot was with Great Slave Helicopters (GSH).<\/p>\n\t\t<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1515615292703-0\" class=\"dfp-ad dfp-in-content\" style=\"margin-bottom:15px;\">\n\t\t<script>\n\t\t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display(\"div-gpt-ad-1515615292703-0\"); });\n\t\t<\/script>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t <p>On social media, GSH identified the pilot as Tom Frith.<\/p> <p>&ldquo;It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the loss of one of our own,&rdquo; said GSH.<\/p> <p>The company said that Frith passed away while battling wildfire near Fort Good Hope&mdash; &ldquo;a testament to his unwavering courage and dedication.&rdquo;<\/p> <p>&ldquo;As we navigate this time of sorrow, let us hold on to the memories of Tom &ndash; his smile, laughter, the love, and the countless ways he made our lives better,&rdquo; said the company. <\/p> <p>&ldquo;His legacy will live on in his beautiful young family and the hearts of all who knew him.&rdquo;<\/p> <p>Frith leaves behind a wife, children, his parents, brother and extended family and friends in Yellowknife and Australia. <\/p> <p>&ldquo;Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
