Grizzly Springs is honoured to be the only local and family-owned-and-operated bottled water company in the South Okanagan.
“Grizzly Springs has always been locally owned and operated for 32 years,” says Cassandra Ford, who owns the company with her husband, Mike.
“Mike and I bought Grizzly Springs in June 2020 and we knew immediately it was the best choice we could have made. We are so proud of this company, proud of the quality product and customer service we provide and how far this company has grown in the last two years.”
Grizzly Springs sells three-and-five-gallon reusable water jugs for delivery to your home or business throughout the South Okanagan Valley or you can pick up bottles in-store at 500 Warren Ave. East in Penticton.
Grizzly Springs also sells and rents water coolers and accessories such as manual and electric pumps, water spouts, stackers and cooler cleaning supplies for in-store cleaning or DIY at home.
Cassandra and Mike are also excited to announce the company is now making bagged ice with Grizzly Springs water.
You can buy ice at the store or have it delivered to your home or business.
Cassandra and Mike moved to Penticton in 2016 so they and their sons, Daxton and Benson, could live the Okanagan lifestyle of hockey, lacrosse, hiking, biking, paddle boarding and camping.
Upon moving to the Okanagan, they became Grizzly Springs customers and loved the taste and quality of the water.
When the previous owner put the company up for sale to retire in 2020, Cassandra and Mike were immediately interested.
However, COVID had just hit and there was so much uncertainty.
“We decided to take a leap of faith and purchase the company,” says Cassandra.
“We truly believe this opportunity was meant to be. Now almost two years later, we could not be more sure that this was the right decision for our family.”
Business success isn’t possible without a commitment to the health and safety of employees, customers and the community.
“We have amazing employees who believe in our company as much as we do. They are the heart of our business and treat customers like their own, which is why we can provide such exceptional customer service,” says Cassandra.
“We also strive for continuous improvement in the environmental quality of our products, processes and services.”
Cassandra and Mike’s enthusiasm for Grizzly Springs knows no bounds.
“We absolutely love running Grizzly Springs Water,” says Cassandra.
“Both of us have had other careers, but with Grizzly Springs, everything aligns with our values and family, which make a perfect fit. We work as a great team, operating and growing the business. We have amazing staff that have become like family. We love the daily interaction with our customers and communities.
Like every small business, we have our challenges, but these have also taught us a lot about ourselves and we continue to grow and learn, which is what life is all about. We are so excited to see what the future holds.”
