A Kamloops-area pilot recently took to the skies to showcase just what has happened in the province during the 2021 wildfire season.
In the video posted on Saturday, Dale Maher flew from the Kamloops Airport to Logan Lake. Maher provided a bird’s-eye view of the damage from the Tremont Creek and White Rock Lake fires.
While there was still loads of green, some areas were completely burnt.
Maher mentioned that he was flying at 6,500 and 9,500 feet in order to stay out of restricted air space.
