Country star takes the #LakeDipChallenge in Okanagan Lake

Brett Kissel will perform in Penticton tonight in what is sure to be a smoking hot show.

However, the Canadian country star looked pretty chilly taking an offseason dip in Okanagan Lake on Thursday.

Joined by his band and managers, Kissel took the #LakeDipChallenge in support of Her International, a non-profit organization that aims to provide education and sustainable living to marginalized women and children.

Kissel pledged $100 per band member, raising $1,100, which was matched by his Penticton based management group Invictus Entertainment Group.

The dip for charity is another example that Kessel is an all around good guy.

During the NHL playoffs last year, Kissel was getting ready to sing the Star-Spangled Banner when he realized his microphone wasn’t working properly.

Instead of an awkward moment or a delay in the action, Kissel summoned the Edmonton fans to help him out and they did just that.

You can see a much warmer Brett Kissel tonight when he plays the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
