In today’s world when climate change is a new reality, global pandemic survival was a public risk, political avarice dominates social values and artificial intelligence exceeds human capability, art making for me has become a means of dealing with turmoil. The messages in the work are comments rendered in oil on canvas. This medium may not be the best means to document our social or spiritual reality, but it is my way of discharging concern and gaining mindful wellness. My hope is that these images offer the viewers similar values.” — Keith Funk September 28th to November 23rd Opening Reception: Saturday, September 28th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm PDCAC Gallery I at the Leir House Cultural Centre (220 Manor Park Avenue) In Person: Wednesday to Saturday, 10:30 am to 4:30 pm Online: www.pentictonartscouncil.com Entry by donation.
