Penticton & District Community Arts Council presents Fresh A.i.R. - Artists in Residence Hybrid Exhibition
The Penticton Arts Council is excited to present our first hybrid in-person and online exhibition featuring the PDCAC Artists in Residence: Karla Avendano, Bethany Handfield, Barb Peeren, Cathie Peeren, Diana Skelhorne, Debbie Tougas, and George Traicheff.
The in-person exhibition opens Thursday, November 5th at noon at the Leir House Cultural Centre and runs to Saturday, December 19th. Visitors are welcome to attend Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays from Noon to 6:00 pm.
COVID precautions will be followed including six people at a time in gallery spaces, contact tracing, and masks. If you don’t have a mask they are available for a $2 donation. For visiting times outside of those days, appointments can be made with one of the artists by request though the office.
The online exhibition will be live starting Saturday, November 14th at 1:00 PM as part of Arts Matter Online. All of the art work in the in-person exhibition will be viewable online.
As pieces are sold, new ones will take their place, so be sure to check back often. There will be door prizes for both options throughout the exhibition.
Locally made pottery by the Penticton Potters Guild will be available for purchase in the PDCAC office - an extension of the exhibition, for the run of the show! Perfect for Christmas shopping!
