2019-10-30 14:00:00 2019-10-30 15:00:00 America/Vancouver Topics + Tea | The World through the Eyes of a Fashion Stylist Through the Eyes of a Fashion Stylist Lecture by Geraldine Shockey Wednesday, October 30, 2019 | 2:00-3:00pm Join the fun, funny and crazy-beautiful, but surprisingly practical, world of fashion styling. It's creative, it's personal, and it's inspired by those around. So, since you all wear clothes (we hope), we invite you to dress up in something interesting from home and let’s enjoy the show-and-tell of fashion styling. Geraldine was eight when she was given a Barbie doll, and within seconds Barbie was restyled and restyled again. Inevitably, she wound up in university studying fashion and did a long stint at Eaton's Vancouver designing window displays and styling mannequins. Fashion shows, photo shoots, stage costumes all followed and all were styled. Thank you Barbie! Admission by donation. Tea and treats provided by Bench Artisan Market.
