2018-04-28 13:00:00 2018-04-28 17:00:00 America/Vancouver Drum Making Workshop Making your own drum has been described as creating an extension of yourself to use as a tool. Whether you use this drum as a personal journeying tool, for healing, or simply to enjoy playing - it will have a special meaning to you. We will be making 14" natural color hide drums on a circular frame. If you want the frame or the hide dyed prior to the class please contact me to arrange the additional cost and if you want to be involved in that process. You can also paint the surface of your drum after it has dried. Cost for this workshop is $200 and includes all materials needed to complete the drum and the beater. You have the option to use a standard wood dowl beater or go hunting for your own wooden branch, stick, etc. A deposit of $100 is due to hold your spot and is payable on or before April 8th to ensure time to prepare the materials.
