All ages welcome. Penticton Art Gallery — 199 Marina Way, Penticton. **Late Night for Grand Opening 7 pm to 9 pm** Finish your Artwalk in style at the Penticton Art Gallery. Late opening & special viewing for the Under $500 Art show, featuring a wide variety of artworks from artists all over the South Okanagan. Plus grand opening of Twelve Goddesses - a solo show by artist Jean Settle The Lloyd Gallery– 18 Front Street, Penticton. Late opening, with a feature wall of new art on display by gallery artists. Come warm up with a mug of hot apple cider and delicious appetizers. Front Street Gallery - 60 Front Street, Penticton. Opening night for a specially chosen a "Verse and Vision Project". Gallery Artists have each created a painting inspired by the poem “The Bridge”. Join us for a lively discussion with the artists and a cup of season’s cheer! Picture This Custom Framing & Gallery - 133 Westminster Avenue, Penticton. Late night opening, with artists in attendance. Drinks, nibbles and music too. Your chance to meet with the artists, and gain an insight into their work. Matheson & Grove Fine Art Gallery - (formerly the Martin Street Art and Music Gallery) - 205 Martin Street, Penticton. Late night opening, with nibbles, live music and live painting! See live painting by Lisa Heinricks. Artists will be in attendance, and art studios will be open for guests to explore. (Extended viewing hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday too, just in case you aren't able to stay on the night). Nanaimo Square - Tree Light Up Festival & Christmas Open House Downtown. Tree Lighting at 7:15pm. Activities for the whole family. Christmas Carolers, gingerbread cookie decorating, bouncy castles, and treats. PLUS Santa will be there to light the tree! Downtown businesses will be staying open late. Mondo Creation - 221 Main Street, Penticton. Late night opening, with solo show by artist Michael Owen Sime. Artist will be in attendance. About the Artist: On retirement following an extremely busy life as an obstetrician/ gynaecologist, Michael Sime began his art career. Michael’s art has been variously described as funny, sensitive, whimsical, quirky and beautiful. Currently he is developing a book of his art, stories and poetry. Michael has suggested that this may be his last public showing in Penticton, so we invite you to join us for this rare opportunity. Show will run until November 30th. The Long Gallery + Studios - 374 Main Street, Penticton. Opening night for Lavish Essence - A duo show featuring work by Bibiana and Christina Baird, as the artists explore the sumptuous intrinsic nature of flowers. Artists in attendance, plus wines from the Naramata Bench. Tumbleweed Gallery – 452 Main Street, Penticton. Opening Night for "Gathering" - featuring all new art from the seven members of the Tumbleweed artist collective. Show features work by: Liz Marshall, Jolene Mackie, Jessie Dunlop, Carol Munro, Vikki Drummond, Lyse Deselliers and Kirsten Robertson.
