Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar event to kick off Pride season

Pride season will kick off next month with the return of the signature event, Kelowna’s Next Drag Superstar!

The annual event will showcase 13 local drag performers at Red Bird Brewing on May 10, 2024.

This will be the 11th year of the popular event, which will be hosted by the “iconic Two-Spirit goddess,” Ella l'Amoureux.

During the course of an evening, the talented performers compete to secure their spot in the top eight, advancing them to the grand finale on June 7, during Kelowna Pride week.

“Each performer will bring their unique flair and passion to the stage, aiming to impress both the live audience and viewers tuning in from home,” says Rebellious Unicorns, the producer of the show.
